And that is completly uncapable of managing my many thousand documents, music and app data on my 128 Gb iPad Air in any acceptable way. It is also completely irrelevant, which form the accessed data have internally: for users the only relevant point is everyday workflow and access beyond Apple's funny little "inbox functionality". Bringing them in connection with security issues is just myth making, unless proven otherwise. It even caught a random mistake in a saved file that blocked the phone from being backed up and allowed me to remove it with out harm to the phone or other memo's.The apps we are discussing in this thread never were a security problem for me, nor for anybody else I know. Looking through the files, I would have lost a tremendous amount of irreplaceable data had I used Apples method! Both sets contain major variations. So, when I backed up my voice memo's, one was a REPLACE ALL, and one was a SKIP ALL. The good news about this, the phone actually took two different sound files and placed them under the same stamp. The software recognized double voice memo files. And here's something to iMazing's credit. Apple makes getting anything off of ones phone the most ridiculous round-about maze of confusion! iMazing simplifies it into a beautiful interface, so you can be sure that you have grabbed absolutely everything off your device before wiping it! It is rare that I spend money on software these days, but iMazing has my business for life!! It is money well spent!! I now feel very confident in acquiring all my information from my phone at the click of a button. Recently I upgraded from a 4S to a 6S Plus. That's helpful apropos of my interest in manually extracting certain files for safe-keeping! Backup your i-device in iTunes, then us iMazing to browse through it. iMazing works off of the backups you've made, so there is definitely a way of getting at the Documents and Library folders of apps. You may just find that it does! - Update In the interest of fairness, updates are important especially when a user discovers something that changes a review they've left. There are scores of other features, though, so check out the website and see whether it suits your needs. I'm just not likely to use the program that much any more as my key use was manually backing up files from key iOS apps-some of which do NOT get backed up or are hard to access when they are backed up. The program is elegantly designed, with an easy to use graphical interface. He is pleasant, talented, smart, and informative. The iMazing developer, however, is incredibly responsive. It is cryptically mentioned in an easily overlooked spot when you try and access folders within the program itself. That key product information was missing from the web page and not provided in the upgrade information. Be aware that iMazing can NO longer browse all the files and folders on your i-device the way that Disk Aid could! This is due to changes in the way Apple handles folder access and whether app developers choose to permit access.
